Private Classes
I propose private tailor-made classes which are shaped around a specific intention based on your needs, wants and abilities. These are discussed during an initial introductory meeting.
It is important to ensure that we can go on this journey together. If I feel I can’t facilitate your journey, I can refer you to someone else.
During the session, you will be guided in the way that you prefer to be supported – be it by demonstration, by verbal cues and/or by hands-on assist. I will guide you intuitively, according to the intention set, your range of motion and where you are at the present moment, not the aesthetics of the pose. I will also teach you pose variations to suit your specific needs if needed, which makes this modality an empowering tool in order to help you progress in your practice.
Forrest Yoga
My sequencing will be primary Forrest Yoga inspired.
Forrest Yoga is an intensive type of yoga which incorporates the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects.
These link together through 4 core pillars:

SPIRIT
Ana Forrest has overcome life trauma with addiction, abuse, and illness and developed this style of yoga throughout which she found peace and healing. This style of yoga addresses modern day ailments: neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, anxiety, stress, etc.
A typical Forrest Yoga class comprises breath and core work and long holding poses which allow you to connect with your feelings, your body and your inner self. It is known to build physical, mental and spiritual strength.

New to yoga?
A private session can give you the foundation and confidence to join a group class.

Working on one-to-one can help dive deeper into your practice, target tight areas and work on specific challenging poses.
